Come Prepared to Make Decisions!
Whether your wedding date or event is just two weeks away or two years away, the show is about getting your vision turned into reality. June and December are popular wedding months, so you will need to make quick decisions and commitments. If you are not prepared to make a deposit, at least plan to make a definite appointment at the show to meet with your favorite vendors. It is often the case that the vendors are booked up after bridal shows, so be ready to act quickly -- be decisive and get your dates booked.
What to Wear?
Wear something you won't mind being photographed in for the newspaper and shared online. Don't forget comfortable shoes.
Who Should Attend?
The show is open to the general public. Brides, grooms, their parents, siblings and other family members are welcome. Your wedding party and close friends are welcome. Brides and grooms will be given special stickers making it a fun event for the couples at this show. The show includes event planners who will find all the connections for any function or events. Families planning anniversaries,birthdays and other events attend as well.
How Can You Prepare to Attend?
Make a checklist of the most important elements needed to complete your wedding plans. The Bridal Faire show includes more than 20 different categories of wedding and new-home needs. Come with a specific date and time in mind for the wedding services required. One of the first questions you will need to ask any company in the "service" category:
"Are you available or have an opening on _____(date)? If the response is negative, move on.
How Many Companies Will Be On Hand?
We expect over 50 companies will be showcased and on display. However, we will know closer to the date. We strive to keep the exhibitors per category limited so that you can have a chance to interact and get a chance to know the experts. The person you pick for your event or wedding is crucial to its success and your comfort is important. You will be spending many hours together. We believe that you can't connect in a loud hub-bub environment. There will be a variety of selections in the most requested categories, such as reception facilities, photographers, caterers and video-graphers. No matter what style you have in mind, from large to small budgets, we believe that you will be pleased with the caring and professional abilities of the Wedding Experts. Final Show Tip!
Come ready to be inspired and flexible. There will be so many new ideas that every couple can customize and tweak their "vision" to truly make it a unique and fun event. Some of the most talented and creative designers, florists, cake artists, wedding planners, gown boutique, event designers, decorators and accessory business participate in the show. Many of the businesses that attend will be giving incentives and show only prices. Expect to see lots of inspirational ideas to make your wedding day or event as fantastic as the two of you are.
